Probably right up there with:

💅 “It just fell off…”

Just a little nail myth busting for today…nails don’t actually breathe! The nail plate is made up of dead keratin cells, so it doesn’t need oxygen from the air. Healthy nails get their nutrients from the blood supply in the nail bed and matrix.

I’ve been keeping a little secret 🤫

Now that everything is done and approved I can officially say that I am a proud licensed salon owner!

Nothing is changing on where I am or how you see things on your end. I am just finally 100% independent and no longer under someone else’s salon name.

Just a friendly reminder for all the construction going on. Please allow for extra time when traveling to your appointment.

Let’s also add:

Beginning today, work will begin on U.S. 50 (Eastern Avenue) between South Watt Street and U.S. 35 and between U.S. 35 and Sugar Run Road/Calvers Lane. One lane will be maintained by flaggers. Estimated completion is this Fall.
