Doing what I love, my passion, has never felt better! I’ve been so excited to see everyone that I’ve forgotten to take before and after pictures. Here is a new cut with babylights for my beautiful friend!! ❤️
We are opening Friday!! Things have changed a little, so we wanted to let you know what to expect and to provide some guidelines prior to your appointment.
✂️We ask that if you are experiencing ANY symptoms of not feeling well to please stay home and reschedule.
✂️ Please arrive as close as possible to your appointment time. We ask that you stay in your car until the start time of your appointment.
✂️We will have hand sanitizer available or ask that you please wash your hands upon arrival. We also will constantly be washing our hands.
✂️We ask that ONLY family members with an appointment come with you. Children who have an appointment are welcome, but must be aware of the importance of social distancing. We want all of our guests to feel as comfortable and safe as possible during their experience. ❤️
✂️ Carol and I have separated our working areas to ensure that we will be practicing social distancing. We are temporarily in completely different rooms.
✂️We will be wearing masks and ask that you do also. The masks that loop around your ears would be best for cutting, coloring and shampooing.
✂️We temporarily are not allowed to have magazines or books, but feel free to bring your own!
✂️We will accept any form of payment for your service.
✂️Please know that we will be doing everything in our power to keep a safe and sanitized salon for you, as we always do. We will be sanitizing every implement, countertop, credit card machine, phone, door k**b, etc after every single client. We also will be doing so while you are there!! We never reuse salon towels and capes until after being laundered. Please feel rest assured that we will continue to provide a safe environment for your experience.
❤️Most importantly know that we are incredibly excited to get back to work and see all of you. It is going to be such a struggle to not hug you all!! See you soon!~Wendy

Licensees,
We have been getting a lot of calls, texts, e-mail, etc about Coronavirus and the Board’s response to it. Please know, the situation is changing rapidly in Ohio and across the country.
At this time, the Governor has ordered that events or businesses that can accommodate up to 100 people at a time be closed. This includes K-12 schools, restaurants and bars, etc. The Governor has not ordered individual businesses such as salons and barber shops to close. As of now, that decision is in the hands of each salon or barbershop.
Governor DeWine holds a daily press conference at 2:00 p.m. You are encouraged to watch the daily press conference on the Ohio Channel website. Many local TV stations are also broadcasting the press conference from their websites. These press conference will provide you with the most up to date and reliable information.
Below outlines what was announced over the weekend:
LONG-TERM CARE FACILITY CLARIFICATION
Clarifying the order prohibiting visitors to long-term care facilities, such as nursing homes, Governor DeWine clarified that there is an exemption of this prohibition for those, including clergy, visiting residents in end-of-life care.
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH HOSPITALS
Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services Lori Criss announced that she has prohibited visitors to the state psychiatric hospitals and is making every effort to ensure video visitation for patients.
EXPANDING TELEHEALTH SERVICES
In partnership with the Ohio Department of Medicaid, Director Criss announced emergency orders that reduce restrictions on telehealth, ensuring that every Ohioan has access to behavioral health Care via telehealth services by landline or cell phone.
MENTAL WELLNESS
Director Criss encouraged all Ohioans to monitor their mental wellness during this time and described resources available at mhas.ohio.gov/coronavirus.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Governor DeWine announced that the state had received its personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, gowns, and goggles, from the National Strategic Reserve last night. He asked all health care providers and others that use PPE to conserve their supplies. Governor DeWine requested that dentists and veterinarians postpone elective surgeries. Governor DeWine explained that his health advisory group is in the process of developing guidelines for doctors for postponing elective surgeries that will not put patients at risk. These measures will open up critical treatment beds while preserving the state's limited supply of PPE.
RESTAURANTS AND BARS
Governor DeWine announced that the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) has issued a Director's Order that will close all Ohio bars and restaurants to in-house patrons, effective at 9:00 p.m., March 15, 2020. Restaurants with take-out and delivery options will still be able to operate those services, even as their dining rooms are temporarily closed.
The order was issued ahead of the St. Patrick's Day holiday, which commonly would attract large groups of people to bars and restaurants across the state. This would make "social distancing" impossible in many circumstances. This is known by healthcare providers to be among the most effective ways to slow the spread of the disease, due to the high rate and speed of transmission in COVID-19.
ENHANCED UNEMPLOYMENT AID FOR OHIOANS:
The Governor will issue an executive order, which will grant the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) with the authority to accept and grant requests for unemployment compensation suspending the normal 1-week waiting period.
This order will also give relief to applicants who are not offered paid leave through their job, as well as those who have been quarantined by a medical professional, their employer, or whose employers must temporarily close. Those who apply for unemployment under these circumstances will be exempt from the requirement that they be actively seeking work.
ONE-TIME LIQUOR BUYBACK:
The Ohio Department of Commerce will immediately begin offering a one-time liquor buyback option to support bars and restaurants. This will especially aid those establishments that have stocked up on high-proof liquor ahead of the St. Patrick's Day holiday for which they now have no use, due to their closure to in-house patrons.
Bars and restaurants wishing to take advantage of this opportunity should return their unopened, high-proof liquor products (obtained within the past 30 days) to the agency where they purchased the product. This opportunity is also extended to those with temporary (F2) permits for events scheduled between March 12 and April 6, 2020. If a business has questions about this program, they should reach out directly to the Liquor Enterprise Service Center (LESC) at 1(877)812-0013 or by emailing [email protected].
SUPPORT FOR SMALL BUSINESSES & NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS:
The Ohio Development Services Agency is preparing to submit an application in the coming week to qualify Ohio for the U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program. This program provides low-interest loans up to $2 million in order to help businesses overcome the temporary loss of revenue during the state of emergency.
Non profit organizations in Ohio will also be eligible for low-interest loans through the SBA's Economic Injury Disaster Loan program.
In order to complete the state's application, businesses impacted by the current public health crisis should immediately send their contact information to [email protected]. Additional information on the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program is available at SBA.gov/Disaster.
