So I am 75% gray with sprinkles of dark brown. I am not ready to grow out all natural just yet but I wanted a more natural color with a soft, blended look rather than a straight harsh line of regrowth.

I already did one application last month to test the durability. It survived a week on the beach and in the ocean.

This week Briann Noble reapplied on my roots and then pulled it through to blend.

This is a DEMI permanent color with one level of lift.

Since my trip to Kenya, I have leaned into the work even more.

I am thankful for the ways I can serve my home community but my heart was called to "Go into all the world" from the beginning of my walk with Christ.

The work Foothold is doing felt right. Kenya felt right. The people felt right.

One of the projects that I am particularly invested in is the Jasiri Project.

On the surface the women are providing pads. But what they are actually providing is protection, courage, freedom and opportunity.

You see, when a girl starts her period, if she doesn't have the means to manage it, she cannot go to school. If she isn't in school she isn't just losing education, she is at risk. She is at risk of sexual assault, forced marriage or forced labor or all of the above.

A girl with an education has the world opened up to her. She has the freedom to, not just survive, but dream. Maybe she will become a teacher or a doctor or a banker.

A request came in to supply pads at two more schools.

Here's where we need you. If we can raise $2000 it will supply 100 girls pads, soap and a bag provided along with education by our very precious Jennifer.
