🎓✨ A huge congratulations to all of my clients who are graduating this year!

Some of you have been sitting in my chair for many years, and I've had the privilege of watching you grow from kids into incredible young adults. Others I've had the pleasure of getting to know more recently, but every one of you has left a special mark on my heart.

It's hard to believe how quickly the years have gone by. I've celebrated milestones with you, listened to your stories, watched your confidence grow, and now I get to celebrate and hear about this amazing accomplishment with you.

As you move on to your next chapter, remember to be proud of how far you've come, trust yourself, and keep chasing the things that make you happy. And don't forget to pop in and say hi or book an appointment with me! 😉

What is it to be a stylist and why do you love your career?

Let me start by saying over the last 12 years of being a stylist and being in my career has had some big challenges of good and bad. Its been a rollercoaster. One I hope I never get off of.

Today, I had a client who came in after losing her husband. He was also one of my clients, too. It was a hard appointment as they always are when a big life event happens. I made sure I had enough time for her, because she needed it. I have had a few in the last little bit that have lost their loved ones. Those appointment never are easy. We cry together, laugh, talk about the good moments, talk about how we will miss them, and in the process make them beautiful for the next hard moment they will have. Sometimes this means I need to go to the funeral home to do their loved one's final hair appointment. That is one of the most rewarding moments I could ask for. It means I get to do one more thing for that client, because I loved them too. It is also bittersweet. My moment with them to say goodbye. Those aren't the only hard or beautiful thing I get to see in my career. I have watched clients go through infertility issues, health issues, divorces, graduation, marriages, finding out your family is growing even if its by 4 cute little paws, business start ups, and so much more. The time I get with you all are so precious.

It makes you look at life differently. I wake up every day being so hopeful, full of love, and ready to take on whatever life decides to send my way. If they are big things or small they are all moments we shouldn't take for granted. So, thank you so much for trusting me and allowing me to be apart of your life. You all have touched my heart so much and in ways you will never understand. It doesn't matter if it was one appointment, for a short time, or my life long clients. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. The love that you all have shared means the world to me. Being a stylist means more than just doing hair. It means friendship, therapy, love, and a family and army I never knew I could have. I truly love what I do and hope to put that love into each appointment I have.
