House of Gouda, the specialty cheese shop owned by Master Cheesemaker Marieke Penterman of Marieke Gouda, just announced its plans to close its Eau Claire location – and relocate to Chippewa Falls' Market on River.

The Eau Claire shop will close on June 30, with its (re)opening in Chippewa Falls slated for Aug. 6.

🚧We’ve heard the chatter and seen the signs—road closure of Bay & River Street will start on Monday, April 6, and continue through April. We will update you if we receive different information.

BUT good news… MOR is still OPEN! 🩵🙌✨

Don’t let the detour signs confuse you! Our building, main parking lot, and the side street parking lot will still be accessible.🚗

Simply follow the posted detours, and you’ll be able to make your way to us with ease. We’re here, doors open, coffee brewing, and all of our amazing food, shopping, and retail businesses will continue to be open and ready to welcome you in ☕🛍💛
