My new favorite is when people say “you didn’t go into teaching for money”. I guess that’s been okay to say.

I’m putting a STOP 🛑 to that. It’s a hard NO for me. I actually did go into teaching for money. I was a single mom. Doing it on my own. Broke…

I needed a good, respectable, and reliable job. So I became a teacher. I quickly learned I could BARELY make ends meet and found myself in debt.…

No one can actually thrive on a teachers salary. It’s SAD. We are expected to go above and beyond, show up 100% everyday, and take on an overload of work DAILY.

Yet with my MASTERS DEGREE I get paid more from owning my own business, social media, and bartending than I do teaching. Like A LOT more.

No one should have to have extra jobs unless they want them. I guarantee you don’t go to work for FUN… we work to get paid and to live…

I’m not sure where life is taking me. But I’ve got some big ideas for big changes brewing on the dream board.
