I genuinely cannot even begin to express how incredibly fortunate I feel to get to do what I do. Two decades into this career, the fact that I get to be part of one of the most important days of your life will NEVER be lost on me.

Of course, you’re marrying the love of your life, but it’s so much more than that. This is the day you’ve dreamed about since you were a little girl, your Princess of Genovia moment, if you will. A PRINCESS, SHUT UP!!! 👑✨

I’ve never been the kind of artist who just shows up to apply your makeup because, to me, that’s such a small part of what I’m actually there to do. I believe so deeply in soul connections, energy, and the universe bringing people together exactly when they’re supposed to find each other.

Somehow, in this little moment in time, you found me and chose ME to be your artist, not just because you love my work or trust that I’ll make you look absolutely flawless, but because you trust me to be there for YOU: to hype you up, make you laugh, calm your nerves, remind you how unbelievably beautiful you are, and help you feel like the most confident, radiant version of yourself on a day you’ll remember forever.

THAT is the part of this career that means absolutely everything to me. I don’t take your trust, your love, or the privilege of being part of these moments for granted, not for a single second.

Twenty years later, I still love this with my entire heart, even in the hustle and bustle and occasional burnout of an extremely busy wedding season. Even when the days are long, the schedule is packed, and I’m running on fumes, I’m still reminded of how deeply grateful I am to do this work and be part of these unforgettable moments. I hope every single person who sits in my chair feels that. I love what I do, and I love all of you so very much. Thank you for letting me be a little part of your story. 🫶🏼

Madeline was not only that girllllll with the absolute perfect black cat energy. Although I joked we may need to call it grey cat energy after analyzing her as a Soft Summer 🤌🏼

But truly, she is adorable, talented, effortlessly cool, and SO fun to work with.
