🌸 WE ARE OPEN! 🌸

We keep getting that question… so let’s make it official:

YES, WE ARE OPEN! 🙌

We’re busy stocking our cooler with fresh, beautiful flowers and getting ready for your weekend flower needs. 💐

We know it’s easy to grab flowers on a whim at the grocery store or market. But I can promise you… they are NOT the same.

There’s something different about flowers that are thoughtfully chosen, beautifully designed, and prepared by people who truly care about what goes out the door. The freshness. The quality. The details. The way they make someone feel.

So if you’re celebrating something—or just want to make someone’s Friday a little brighter—come see us. We’re open! 🌷

Stop in, grab something beautiful, and take a little Friday happiness with you. ❤️

Small Business Social Media… it’s what plagues just about every small business owner.

What do I post? When do I post? Am I reaching the right audience? Why did one post get 4 likes while another got 400? 🤷‍♀️

The truth is, none of us really know. And why? Because we’re too busy running every other aspect of our businesses—accounting, merchandising, HR, inventory, customer service, ordering, scheduling…you name it.

Sometimes we hit the mark. Sometimes we completely miss it. That’s just the reality of being a small business owner.

But I can tell you one thing: every small business owner has the same #1 goal—to get you through their door.

So, when you see something you like on social media from a small business, sure, like the post. Maybe even leave a comment. Those things matter more than you probably realize.

But even better? Get in your car and go there.

Don’t send an email asking if they still have it. Don’t send a PM asking them to hold it for you. Don’t wait until it’s convenient.

You’ll jump in your car and drive to the nearest Target when they announce an “exclusive” Stanley print. Do the same for a small business.

Because here’s the fair warning:
If we don’t support small businesses while they’re here, eventually, they won’t be.
And when that happens, you won’t be able to “like” them back into existence. ❤️
Shop local. Show up. Spend local. Keep your small businesses here.

I recently read a comment where someone said, “I’ve not had any reason to buy flowers, so I haven’t been in.”

Well, I’m here to give you a few reasons. 🌸

It’s Tuesday.
You deserve them.
You are worth celebrating.
Treat yourself.
You made it through Monday. 😉
You woke up today.
You’re having a hard week.
You’re having a GREAT week.
You’re thinking about someone.
You want to brighten someone else’s day.
You just want something beautiful in your kitchen.
Or maybe…you simply love flowers.

We’ve been taught that flowers are for birthdays, anniversaries, funerals, new babies and special occasions.
But what if flowers don’t always need a special occasion?
Sometimes the occasion is you.

So, I’m curious…
What is YOUR very best reason to buy flowers? 💐
Tell me in the comments. I have a feeling we can come up with quite a list! ❤️

We have been overwhelmed by the incredible outpouring of love, support, and appreciation since our announcement. We are truly grateful for every kind word, share, visit, and show of support. ❤️

We do want to gently remind everyone that we are still OPEN through October! While we will be offering sales and special promotions as we get closer to closing, we are still a business and our merchandise is not free.

We still have bills to pay and a business to operate, and we need your support now more than ever. If you’ve been meaning to stop in, shop with us, or support us one last time, there is still time!

Thank you for helping us make these final months meaningful. We appreciate you more than you know. ❤️

With silver polka dots on top and a dramatic red underside, this Begonia knows how to make an entrance. Especially with a name like "Cracklin Rosie!"

Who says your most stylish accessory can't be a houseplant?

Warning: Side effects may include staring at it every time you walk past. 😉

I have drafted this post 1,482 times, trying to find the right words. It’s time to share something with you all.
After 75 dedicated years serving Wyoming & the surrounding communities, we’ve made the difficult, bittersweet decision to close our doors at the end of October.
This wasn’t an easy choice. It took many long conversations, careful thought, & heartfelt prayer over recent months. No one ever wants to be the family member who closes the final chapter on a business that has been part of our local history & our family heritage for more than three generations. But here we are, stepping into a new season of life.
I could list all the operational challenges we’ve faced over the past few years—many of you have heard similar stories from other local small businesses or seen them in the news. Instead, I’d rather focus on the immense blessings & new adventures that lie ahead for our family.
Jennie is officially retiring & moving closer to her daughter, where she’ll help with her twin grandsons. She’s absolutely thrilled & can’t wait to embrace being “just Grandma.”
As for us, we’re looking toward the future & realizing what we’ve been missing: quiet time together & more moments with our kids. This business has given us a lot of things we will cherish forever. But running it required sacrifices. Over time, it became clear that it was time to follow where God was leading us, & we knew this was the right moment.
We have several weddings over the next few months, & until our very last day, our doors remain Open. The cooler will be stocked with blooms, & our shop will be full of beautiful plants.
Please stop by! Pick up a houseplant, brighten your day with a fresh arrangement, or order a corsage or bout for Homecoming. Jennie & I never turn down a good chat. I always joke we’re a step above a local bar. Come share a story so we can thank you in person for being part of our journey.
Thank you for letting us be part of your lives for 75 years. It has been a true honor to celebrate your happiest moments & comfort you through tough times. We are grateful for your kindness, support, & friendship.
With love & gratitude,
April, Jennie, & the Whole Wyoming Florist family
