On July 4th, my beloved grandmother passed away at the tender age of 99. Two days before our family reunion. This was God's plan, and I can't help but think her plan as well. The family was gathering already for the reunion. What a better time to go! Mama, we love you. Your legacy will live on in your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all those who you have touched. You were the true definition of a mother. Loving, caring, kind, strong, wise, nurturing. We are truly blessed to be a part of your lineage. Rest easy now, dad and Uncle Jerry are waiting to welcome you on the other side.
