This post is to address the incident at our salon Saturday January 25th. Bobby S came in for a hair cut and color with her daughter. The designer was shown a picture of what she wanted. The designer asked if she wanted all over color or high and low lights. Bobby says high and low lights. Bobby picks the color and the designer does that for her. She cut the daughters hair in between which she said she liked (until now)
Bobby said she wanted an inch taken off which our designer did. If the designer would have cut 5 inches off (which Bobby is trying to say she did) her hair would have been up to her ears considering the length it started at. Our designer starts to blow dry Bobby's hair and Bobby says she still see grey. Our designer explains that with high and low lights you will see some grey but that she can put in more low lights to cover some more of the grey. Twice she offered. At this point, both daughter and Bobby start crying, yelling at designer saying she ruined her hair. They both continue to yell at the designer saying just get me the hell out of here till designer says I've had enough!
All walk to the front with Bobby yelling" Get me the f-bomb out of here". Bobby then proceeds to yell at my 16 yr old receptionist to "Hurry the f-bomb up so I can get the F-bomb out of this f-bomb place." Her post says she didn't yell or cuss. LIE.
Another designer was up front and saw what was happening and she commented to Bobby her hair looked good. Bobby was dismissive. While Bobby was abusing my receptionist her daughter was mouthing" I'm sorry behind her mother. When they walked out, the other designer heard her say "This isn't over."
She did not try to contact us at all about her not liking her hair. Instead she went onto social media to post lies about what had happened, leaving no options for us to try and resolve any issues in a peaceful matter, and then we started getting bombarded with bad reviews and comments from people that have never even been in our salon. I feel she caused this spectacle so she can blackmail into getting her money back instead of allowing us the opportunity to either get her in to add some more color or at least come to an amicable solution . She said she would post till she got a refund.
Noggins wants all clients to be happy with their hair. We have been in business for well over 35 years. All of our designers are well trained and experienced. and have never experienced this kind of vile, hateful vitriol.
This person has chosen to litigate, slander and defame our salon from the beginning without even so much as a phone call. I messaged her to come in so I could see her hair. At first she said yes with a witness (which I said was completely fine). Then she changed her mind and refused to come in. We then had a phone call where I could ask her about the consultation she had with the stylist and then I could also ask her about her abuse to the designer and our receptionist that she did not tell people in her post that she did. She refused to acknowledge any of it.
This is Social Media Extortion.
What's worse is all the "haters" that believe her side without even considering that there are two sides to each story.
It is terrible to have someone spread these lies about our salon and our stylists and then have a posse of people to also post horrible things to try and bring our business down over something that could have been handled so very differently. This is a terrible person to spread such lies about our business and anyone with a business should be concerned about this type of behavior.
I have talked to an attorney to settle this once and for all.
