It’s with great sadness that I have to inform you of the passing of our beloved Melinda Wood. She was a corner stone of this Salon since we opened. You leave a deep sense of loss with all of us. I’m struggling to find the words you deserve but I’m sure you know our hearts. Travel well. All of our love and admiration for a life well lived.

Everyone please wish Melinda well, as many of you know she was diagnosed with lung cancer and her last day at the salon was last week. I will miss seeing her beautiful face at the Salon every Thursday. It’s not gonna be the same. I hope you get to enjoy your time but know your missed here ❤️ We love you!

We women at the Black cat Salon, a woman owned and operated business are pro woman and pro choice. Reproductive rights are a human right! Without them women cannot be fully empowered to achieve professional goals and economic security.
