The ELS Philos had a busy weekend!

From assisting with setting up for the Bond Hill Community Council's Community Yard sale and attending the SGRHO 2026 Field Day event on Saturday to the Philos, Philo Interests and Sigmas attending church service at New Prospect Baptist Church on Sunday!

💛🤍Hearts in Action: Philo Love and Sigma Family Celebrate Project Cradle💛🤍

On January 17, 2026, the Philo Love affiliate and the Sigma family came together to host a community baby shower for Project Cradle, supporting mothers as they prepared to welcome new life. They shared diapers, blankets, baby essentials, and thoughtful gifts, creating a space full of care, warmth, and encouragement.

This event showed how meaningful it is when a community steps in to help. Every gift given and every connection made reflected a simple truth: love and attention can make all the difference in someone’s journey.💛🤍

On December 20, 2025, the Epsilon Lambda Sigma Philo Affiliate carried forward its Adoptive Family initiative for the second year, once again adopting two families and extending support during the Christmas season.

This work reflects an ongoing commitment to community not a single moment, but a continued presence. For the second consecutive year, we engaged families with intention, respect, and accountability, reinforcing that meaningful service is built through consistency, trust, and follow-through.

On Sunday, December 7, 2025 the Epsilon Lambda Sigma Philo Affiliate enjoyed a bonding outing at the Underground Railroad Freedom Center with individuals interested in becoming Philos. This time was dedicated to connection, conversation, and strengthening sisterhood.
