More than a holiday… it’s a reminder.

A reminder of the strength, sacrifice, and resilience of Black Americans who came before us. The ones who endured, fought, believed, and carried hope so future generations could walk in freedoms they may have never seen for themselves.

This weekend, I encourage you to take some time to learn more. Read. Listen. Explore. Ask questions. Find the beauty in our history—even in the hard parts.

Because when you understand where you come from, you move differently.

I’m grateful for the legacy I carry. Grateful for those who paved the way. And every day, I’m simply trying to live a life that honors them and makes them proud. ✨
