How often do you create the “perfect plan” only to have life get in the way?
As “perfect” as a plan may be, work meetings pop up, kids get sick, and life things get in the way!
By having a “decent” plan that allows you to work around life interruptions, you’re way more likely to stick to the plan (and therefore reach your goals)
At , we don’t expect perfection, we just expect you to show up when you can, and do your best (knowing that looks different day to day!)
Because while going through the motions is better than nothing, being intentional will get you where you want to be much quicker 👀
IYKYK - when the coach asks “how’s that weight feel?” If you answer too quickly, we’ll know you can go heavier 😉

Consistent: “marked by regularity, or steady continuity” (as defined by Merriam-Webster). Notice how there’s nothing about perfection, just steady continuity.
Choosing, more often than not, the options that get you closer to your goals, but knowing not every choice needs to be the “right” one, just most of them 😉
Don’t forget increased bone density and as the great Elle Woods once said “exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy.”
There are so. many. benefits to strength training (and exercise in general).
An increased metabolic rate means you can eat more (hello fuel for workouts! And enjoying holidays and meals out!)
A lower risk of chronic disease comes from more muscles helping to regulate your blood sugar
Lowering your LDL cholesterol to enhance heart health? Sign me up
Increased cognitive function: a better memory and focus? Working smarter instead of harder?? Heck yes.

While the gym can feel intimidating and overwhelming, we don’t want the lingo to confuse you even more.
