A beautiful spray tan doesn’t stop at the appointment—aftercare is key to helping your color develop properly, last longer, and fade evenly. Here’s a quick guide to getting the most out of your glow after your visit with Woke Up Like Dis.

☀️ Step 1: Let Your Tan Develop
Your tan needs time to fully develop. If you received a rapid solution, wait 1–3 hours before rinsing. If you received the overnight solution, wait 8–12 hours.

During this time avoid sweating, water exposure, pools, or hot tubs. Wear loose, dark clothing to prevent rubbing or transfer while your tan sets.

🚿 Step 2: First Rinse (Water Only)
When it’s time to rinse, use lukewarm water only—no soap yet. The cosmetic bronzer will wash away, which is normal.

Use hands only (no loofahs or washcloths) and rinse until the water runs clear. Your color will continue developing for several more hours after this rinse.

💧 Step 3: Moisturize Daily
After your first rinse, keep your skin well moisturized to help your tan last longer and fade evenly. Avoid harsh exfoliation, chlorine, and long hot baths to maintain your glow.
