Give me love is an organization to help bridge the gap between homeless people and those who want to help. The target idea is to always carry snacks with you.
Often times people are afraid to reach out to the homeless because they are afraid their money will be spent on wrong doings. Give me love is working to provide food directly to homeless people. Such as, gronola bars, fruit snacks, etc. Also to help provide gift cards to restaurants.

THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE:

9,675 – number of confirmed homeless people including supportive housing
3,395 – number of confirmed homeless men
2,191 – number of confirmed homeless women
34% suffer from mental illness
13% are veterans
30% are chronically homeless*
National Homeless Statistics
3.5 million accounted for men, women and children go homeless each night in the United States
71% of American employees live paycheck to paycheck
One out of three Americans have no savings
40% of homeless people are families with children and represent the fastest growing segment of the homeless population
18% of the homeless population are "chronically homeless"*
22% have a serious mental illness
46% have chronic health conditions such as cancer
55% go hungry
23% are veterans
28% have more than a high school diploma
