For LASCAUX, Christopher Pray gathers a dense field of references — cave painting, Dante, anatomy, fashion, resistance, romance, Zen, physics, Goya — into a six-hundred-page text installation that bends narrative into physical space.

The seven sins give the chapters their structure. These images offer a glimpse into the references Pray immersed himself in while writing each section.

The result is less a story to move through than a structure to enter: a work about image, value, ethics, and the strange distance between what is represented and what is real.

LASCAUX opens this May as the first Experimental Installations exhibition.

Named after the Paleolithic cave paintings in France, LASCAUX is a sprawling six-hundred-page contemporary novel written as sculpture. Accompanied by a soundscape recorded by the author, the work pushes against conventional ideas of narrative while exploring value, ethics, and the seven deadly sins.

Suite 720 is large and features skyline views and a (recent) mural by LINNcinnatian Tony Lipps (Suite 520).

Suite 709 is west facing, with epic views of the river and western hills. The sunsets are to die for.

Suite 611 is an interior suite, featuring a large brick wall (looks perfect for a mural) and square configuration.

LINNcinnati is home to over 110 small businesses and artists in the former Kruse Hardware/Queensgate Correctional facility. A community of makers and doers in the heart of Cincinnati.

One year ago, Ginger started to appear on the side of LINNcinnati.

Since then, she’s become a landmark — for our building, for Queensgate, and for the artists, makers, and small businesses inside 516 Linn Street.

Happy one year to Ginger, our very own Mona Lisa of Pigs and the Queen of Queensgate.

A first look at LASCHAUX, the first installation taking shape in Experimental Installations at the Poets’ Bunker.

The pages are going up. Celene Hawkins’ permanent light installation "Destination Linn Street" is in place. Still to come: projections, soundscape, and more wall text.

So — not the full reveal yet. But enough to show where this new exhibition space is headed, and get everyone excited to explore the 7 deadly sins.

Mornings at the MAC is now part of the rhythm at LINNcinnati. Hosted by the Midwest Apparel Creative Center in Suite 616, this monthly meetup brings creatives together to connect, collaborate, and build community around fashion, design, and creative growth.

Jammin’ at the Bunker is an open room for music, poetry, and good company, held each Friday from 5:30–7:30 PM in Suite 510 at LINNcinnati.

LINNcinnatians in Action: Brave Like Me Foundation, Suite 717.

Big work, big heart, big lift.

Brave Like Me Foundation recently pulled off a major effort to help get books into the hands of kids across the country, and we were glad for LINNcinnati to play a supporting role through space and logistics.
