I am so passionate about this shop and product, and feel so blessed with the success so far! How did it come to be? Since 2011, I've been very active in the fitness world. I got my license to teach Zumba Fitness in October of 2011, and now teach 7 classes a week. I absolutely love my job! ig part! I have always been fairly crafty throughout my life, but had never learned to sew despite my mother being a great seamstress and trying to get me into it as well. I started making my own non slip headbands because I loved to have a wide variety to match my outfits. I would pick out the ribbons and do the cutting, and my mother would sew them. I began selling some at classes and events. In May of 2015, my mom bit the bullet and got me my own sewing machine for my birthday. I learned and discovered a whole new world! My husband was actually the one who came up with the idea for the unique elastic Fitbit Flex bracelets. I know, I wish I could take full credit, but I must give credit where credit is due. Since elastic ribbons have become so popular for hair ties and bracelets, he thought it would be easy to take that look and add a pocket to make it functional for the Fitbit Flex. I was slightly skeptical at first. I thought it was a good idea, but wasn't sure how it would sell. I made up a few, and began wearing mine to class and all around town. I absolutely loved it compared to the original plastic bands. Not only are they so much cuter, they are also so much more comfortable! I wanted to be able to make something that didn't necessarily look like you were wearing a fitness tracker. Something that you could wear to the gym, but also to a nice dinner out. These bands have also taken another path that I am passionate about. I have had so many inspiring messages from people who are on their personal weight loss journeys who have trouble fitting into even the large size plastic bands. Many of these people also do not necessarily want the stigma of wearing a band that screams fitness tracker. I will gladly make any of my bands smaller or larger if needed! Please just include your wrist measurement in the note to seller for the order and I will be happy to accommodate! Since opening the shop in mid June, I have sold so many more bands than I could have ever dreamed of! I greatly appreciate all of the feedback and reviews and the time my customers have taken to write them! I love reading them, and more than anything, it makes me happy to see how much people like what they are getting. So that's my story! Thank you for reading!
