I love a good fix and I am terrible at taking Insta photos(befores). Luckily, can manage them better(afters).
This lovely young woman dipped her toes into the home haircolor pond during covid. There's no shame in that! We've all done it(admit it, you did, and it's ok).
The before is how she came to us, the after is what we did.
This process took nearly 4 hours. 🕓 It was still not her desired outcome, but was better than the start, right?
Moral of the story: if you get into a bind, STOP 🛑 WHAT YOU ARE DOING. It's ALWAYS fixable, BUT....it will take time. BOOK A CONSULTATION. Be patient. This was NOT done within the timing of a standard color, online booked, appointment.

Clackamas county has received the ok to move ahead to Phase 1. HOWEVER, Dosha is still closed until further notice.

We have locations in all 3 counties of the metro area, including our corporate offices, which is where our call center is located, and it is going to take some time to navigate and prepare for the enhanced sanitation and distance requirements necessary to protect our employees and guests.

Once we have an official open date, you will then be contacted to book your appointments. Again, please make sure you have our primary phone number saved into your contacts so you do not miss that call. (503) 228-8280. Also prepare yourselves for an entirely different landscape as there are many things we will have to do to comply with new regulations for our guests as well.

I have had several folks reach our to me about their upcoming appointments.

Here is the story:

DOSHA IS CLOSED until further notice. Please check your email for the updates that have been sent out over the last several weeks. If they're not in your inbox, please check spam or promotions folders.

With all of the uncertainty we have all faced, we made the decision to not call and reschedule anyone until we have a solid opening date. Once that date is official, THEN we call and get you rescheduled.

That being said, please make sure our number is programmed into your phone. (503)228-8280. That way you know it's not a spam call when we try to contact you. Also, make sure your voicemail box is cleared out so that we can leave you a voicemail in the event that you are not reachable.

We will more than likely be working on an appointment only basis, and definitely at limited capacity based on state regulations, so it is important to follow the above advice if you wish to get your hair done when we do get the green light.

How are you coping with social distancing and isolation?
I make it a point to get dressed, and do something with my hair, every day to feel some sense of normalcy. Today was just a brush and bun.
I am also taking this time off to wear every one of the band shirts I have picked up throughout the years. Today is my all time favorite artist . I was able pick this shirt up when she played with the Seattle Symphony before Seattle began shelter in place.
