Massage is essential, you do need to provide a doctors or chiropractors referral note. Many will write you one via a phone assessment or through email. We received a confirmed update from the California Massage Therapy Council and we wanted to assure those with chronic pain etc that you are still able to safely be taken care of.
From CAMTC: Please note that according to the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Essential Services Inquiries, “Medical Massage is massage that is done based on a referral from a doctor or chiropractor. Medical Massage can be done indoors as it is considered essential as healthcare and therefore not under personal services. There is no requirement that it be in a medical office, only that it be done based on a referral from a doctor or chiropractor.” Therefore, according to the CDPH, massage may still be provided, indoors with modifications, in the Regions subject to the Regional Stay at Home Order, if it is provided based on a referral from a physician or chiropractor,

This treatment utilizes peppermint essential oil to remove muscle inflammation, alleviate headaches and invigorate the body. During the massage we use a heated compress on the shoulders and a warm weighted compress is laid down the back. We also can add hot stones for your leg massage upon request. We are so excited to announce that per the new LA County mandate, we are allowed to offer our services indoors! So that means we will offer our full list of services. Our hours won’t be fully open for all therapists since many of us are mothers and have to continue to teach our children at home during certain times/days. You will be able to see each therapists availability anytime you go to book a service online. We are continuing to comply with all of the indoor operational sanitation procedures. So each client will be required to have their temperature taken, hands sanitized and sign a Covid checklist each time they come in. We also have many sanitation requirements between each client so the service times will be extended in order to allow us to meet these requirements.

We have been notified with good news from the California Massage Therapy Council. According to communications from the California Department of Public Health, Essential Services Inquiries: “Medical massage (massage done based on a referral from a doctor or chiropractor) is permitted indoors at this time.
Which means we are now allowed to offer indoor massage to clients who have a referral saying that they are in need of medical massage. This is described as clients who need massage for pain management and/or mental stress relief such as anxiety/chronic headaches etc. For those of you not able to obtain a note from either a doctor or chiropractor, we are still offering a safe and sanitary treatment outdoors in our private cabana. Please email all referrals before your appointment so we can set up properly for you. Also we are allowing new hours for anyone whose treatment is indoors, so if you don’t see a good appointment time for you just email us and we can send you our extended hours list.

We have had such a great response to our outdoor services and we wanted to thank you so much for your continued support. We look forward to seeing all of you again!
