Yesterday I had the opportunity to help raise funds for the Claremont Education Foundation with my previous salon and friends It was such a treat to be with my friends again and see familiar faces from the foundation. Gorgeous curls that needed a trim. Her hair had a lot of shrinkage. Hair like hers has to be cut dry and in its curly state, or you can easily make it too short. Learning how to style it is also necessary to reduce some shrinkage.

Clients move away all the time. It makes me sad to lose them, but I am happy we crossed paths. I always have hope that'll they'll come and vicit one day. Some come and say goodbye and that reminds me of how a hairstylist can touch people's life.
