✨We hope you had a beautiful holiday season filled with rest, connection, and a little extra self-care.

As we step into the new year, we wanted to share a quick update and a heartfelt thank you🫶🏼. After everything we experienced last year, we’re happy to say that Lumen Spa has been fully recovered from the fire and fully operational for about two and a half months now. Your patience, kindness, and continued support during that time truly meant the world to us.

We’re currently in a growth phase and will soon be putting out advertisements to hire additional staff. Our hope is to fill these positions over the next couple of months so we can continue opening more days and appointment times each week to better accommodate everyone who has been trying to come in. Thank you so much for bearing with us as we rebuild our schedule — we truly appreciate your flexibility.

A quick and helpful booking reminder: if you don’t see an appointment time that works for you, we encourage you to add yourself to the waitlist. When a client needs to reschedule — whether due to illness or a change in plans — the system automatically notifies anyone on the waitlist. You’ll receive a message with a direct booking link, making it easy to secure the opening right away. It’s the best way to catch last-minute availability without having to check back repeatedly.

We’re also excited to share that we’ll be sending another email soon with details about some new services we’ve recently added and others that are coming very soon — stay tuned!

When a fire swept through Lumen Spa last summer, it felt like everything we had built together went up in smoke. Losing Lumen Spa was heartbreaking, not just for us as owners, but for our incredible clients who had made it such a special place.��

The road back has not been easy, but we held onto one vision: that we could turn this loss into something even more beautiful. And now, after months of rebuilding, restoring, and reimagining, we are thrilled to announce that the doors of Lumen Spa are open once more!��
The space you’ll step into today is not just rebuilt, it is renewed. Every corner reflects resilience, care, and the desire to give you an experience more gorgeous and serene than ever before. Truly, it feels like lemonade from lemons, and we cannot wait for you to see it.
��We want to give a special thank you to our most loyal clients, who endured scheduling strains, unexpected snafus, and even some creative alternative locations for treatments. Your grace and patience carried us through this chapter, and we are forever grateful.��
Over this week, our hours are expanding so you have more time to enjoy everything our new home has to offer. A small reminder: private parking is reserved, but you’ll always find space right in front of the spa or in the public lot just behind us.��

Directions to the spa are as follows:
arrive at the spa building like usual, to the right of the building you will see private parking spaces for employees on the left side. Follow those spaces until you reach the last one. Temporarily clients can park in that very last space. Park there and you will see our sign next to a small gate opening. Enter through there and follow the lights to the door.

Our latest news

As some of you may know, on August 22 a large fire broke out at Walter’s restaurant, one of our neighboring businesses. While the fire itself spared Lumen Spa, we did incur some smoke and water damage. We are currently working to get the spa cleaned and repaired as soon as possible. In the meantime, we’ve secured a temporary location to use while work is being done to restore the spa, and we will be resuming limited hours later this week. Walter’s restaurant has generously offered to let us set up a pop-up spa in one of the small cottage spaces near the rear of the restaurant that was unaffected by the fire, so we will be working adjacent to the spa. You will be able to access the location through the private parking spaces behind the Claremont Professional Building (see map below).

We want to thank all of you who have reached out to offer your support and to let you know how much we appreciate your patience and understanding as we’ve had to cancel appointments over the past couple of weeks. We are doing our best to get everyone rescheduled as quickly as possible and are very much looking forward to being back at work. We miss you all! Something new that our therapist, Tonee, is promoting is her new machine called : Normatec Compression Therapy.
