CURRENT CLIENTS — PLEASE READ 🤍

Effective today, my no-show/late cancellation fee will be $40.

Moving forward, if you forget your appointment or decide at the last minute that you need to cancel, you will be responsible for the $40 fee before booking another appointment.

Of course, illnesses and true emergencies will always be handled differently. I think most of you know that I’m very understanding and generous when it comes to those situations.

I originally set my fee at $25 because I felt like that was fair, but unfortunately I’ve had people refuse to pay even that. I’ve also had multiple last-minute cancellations/no-shows just within the last week.

I completely understand that life happens, but this is also my income. My availability is already limited, and when an appointment is missed at the last minute, I usually don’t have enough time to fill that spot—which means I’m sitting here with an empty table and no income during that time.

I do my very best to be flexible, understanding, and respectful of your time, and I’m simply asking for that same respect in return. 🤍

I’ll also be looking into a system that allows me to keep a card on file for appointments so this can be handled more easily moving forward.

I’m sorry for the not-so-fun post, but I needed one place to get the word out to everyone. I truly appreciate all of you who respect my time, communicate with me, and continue to support my business.

If you feel like you are struggling right now with retention, don’t panic! It’s shedding season 🥴 read some facts listed below:

If you wear lash extensions and notice more shedding than usual — don’t panic! 👏🏼 A lot of the time, it’s completely normal and related to your natural lash cycle.

Here are a few important things to know:

• We naturally lose about 2–5 lashes per eye, per day
• Lash extensions shed WITH your natural lash when it reaches the end of its growth cycle
• Your lash cycle is constantly changing, which means retention can vary from time to time

🍂🌸 SEASONAL SHEDDING IS REAL 🌸🍂

Just like the hair on our head changes with the seasons, our natural lashes can too. Many people experience increased lash shedding during spring and fall due to changes happening within the body and environment.

During seasonal shedding, you may notice:
• More lashes falling out than usual
• Your fills seeming “less full” quicker
• Faster turnover of natural lashes
• Retention seeming different even with proper aftercare

This does NOT automatically mean your lash artist did anything wrong or that your lashes are unhealthy. It simply means your natural lashes are cycling through faster than normal.

Things that can also affect shedding/retention:
• Stress
• Hormones
• Illness or medications
• Allergies/sinus issues
• Sleeping habits
• Rubbing or picking lashes
• Skincare/oil products
• Weather & humidity changes

The best thing you can do during seasonal shedding is stay consistent with aftercare and fills 🤍 Healthy lashes shed — that’s exactly what they’re supposed to do ✨
