I might not even replace the toilet paper roll if I use it all 😜

NOTHING

I’m outsourcing everything!

The best part?

It will all get done because my husband is a hunnit percent that guy — even on a regular day 😏

Straight hair is my default style

It’s easy, predictable, and lasts longer in between washes

I like straight hair on occasion but deep down…

All I want is to wear my hair curly

As a mom of toddlers, it’s hard for me to maintain my curls without ending up in “bird nest” territory

And once you’re there, it’s an uphill battle

So to make life easier, I wear my hair straight

But the more curly cuts I do for other people, the more I want a curly cut for myself

Day in and day out

All I see is baddie after BADDIE in my chair

There’s a new face in the building for Take Your Child To Work Day

My niece!

She came in hot

Ready to work

Eager to get PAID

This was a trial and she did well!

You will be seeing more of her this summer

So stay tuned!

I had to do her hair 2 days in a row

Why?

Because the first style made her look like a lion
And she preferred a more tamed look

She didn’t have time to restyle that day

So she came back the next day to give me an opportunity to redeem myself🫶🏾

And I did! 😅

When I first started my journey as a curly hairstylist, I had a lot to learn

And different styling techniques was one of them

I was dedicated to learning everything that I could so that I could help other curly girls fall in love with their natural hair

And that meant learning from situations like this and putting in the time and effort to do better

7 years later, I am so proud to look at my growth and call myself a curly hairstylist specialist 🥹

And there is still more to learn!

Idk if I really have a point lol

I just wanted to do something that I rarely do

Celebrate how far I’ve come! 🥂
