Behind every person in recovery is often a network of people who chose to show up, family members, friends, peers, healthcare providers, community organizations, employers, and neighbors.

This Recovery Month, we’re celebrating not only those who are walking the path of recovery, but also the people and organizations helping make that path possible.

You never know who may be quietly struggling, who may be considering asking for help, or who may simply need someone to believe in them.

Choose compassion. Choose connection. Choose hope. 💚

💚 Recovery doesn't have to look the same for everyone.

There isn't one path, one timeline, or one definition of recovery. Every person's journey is different, and every step forward matters.

Recovery can mean asking for help. It can mean rebuilding relationships. It can mean finding stable housing, reconnecting with family, getting treatment, returning to work, or simply making it through another day.

This Recovery Month, let's celebrate progress instead of perfection and meet people where they are with compassion rather than judgment.

A community that understands recovery is a community that makes room for hope. 💚

🌟 **Libera Has Arrived in Harrison County!** 🌟

We are excited to share that **Libera** has made its way to Harrison County to support girls and young women in our community! 💜

Libera provides **free peer support groups for youth and young women in West Virginia**, creating a safe space where participants can connect, grow, build confidence, strengthen social-emotional skills, and begin envisioning a hopeful future.

Do you have a daughter, niece, or know a girl between the ages of 10–14 who could benefit from connecting with other girls her age and having a space where she feels heard, supported, and encouraged? This upcoming group may be a wonderful opportunity!

Participants will receive a free journal, free workbook, and a free care tote with mental health supplies!

💚 September is Recovery Month! 💚

Recovery Month is a time to celebrate the strength and resilience of people in recovery, recognize the families and communities that support them, and remind those who are struggling that recovery is possible.

We’re kicking off the month with the VA’s Recovery Event this Wednesday at Jackson Square, featuring resource tables and opportunities to connect with local organizations and services.

Today marks the beginning of Recovery Month, a time to celebrate the millions of people who are living in recovery, honor the courage it takes to seek help, and recognize the families, friends, peers, professionals, and communities who walk alongside them.

Recovery is not always a straight line. It can look different for every person, and every step forward is worth celebrating.

This month, we invite our community to learn more, challenge stigma, offer compassion, and remember that recovery is possible.

Let’s make September a month filled with hope, connection, understanding, and celebration. 💚

💜 International Overdose Awareness Day | August 31 💜

Tonight, we come together to remember the lives lost to overdose, support those who are still struggling, and remind our community that recovery is possible.

Join us tonight beginning at 5:00 PM for the reading of local proclamations and our Memorial Walk, followed by resource tables and community connections from 6:00–8:00 PM at Jackson Square.

Every name represents a person who mattered. Every family carries a story. And every person still struggling deserves compassion, support, and hope.

We remember. We educate. We advocate. We stand together. 💜

One thing we’re reminded of again and again is just how much can happen when a community comes together.
