North View, you probably knew the closing of the N 13th Street Bridge was coming and now we have a date. The bridge will be closed on Thursday, July 14th at 7am and will remain closed to all vehicle and foot traffic until it reopens on or around August 14th.

There will be no eastbound access available to Rt. 50 until the bridge reopens. Westbound access will still continue during the project and to access Rt. 50 eastbound, North View commuters should use N Ohio Ave and take it to N Florence St to E Pike St to Joyce St to Rt. 50 eastbound.

There will be times when Rt. 50 will be closed to traffic during demolition and construction. Rt. 50 closures will be confined to weekend between 10pm and 5am. When Rt. 50 is closed, Ohio Ave will be the only way in and out of North View.

The Sycamore Street exit will remain open allowing access to Sycamore but no access to N 13th St will be available. Entrance into North View will be available from Rt. 50 westbound only.

This project will cause major traffic flow disruption into an out of North View. Please plan accordingly. If you are unfamiliar with exiting North View using Ohio Ave, now is a good time to get familiarized with the routes in and out so you can respond to traffic conditions as they occur.

Due to circumstances beyond our control Salon 1200 will be closed until further notice. Saturday afternoon a truck coming from rt. 50 hit our shop and unfortunately hit the main loadbearing wall of our shop. We are waiting for insurance information amongst other info to decide where to begin to start to recover from here. Whether that being able to secure and fix the damage or find a new location. Please bare with us in these upcoming weeks. We will be in contact with each and everyone of you once information has been given to us. Starting with the week of February 15th all appointments will be cancelled until further notice. We are still in shock that this happened!
