Hello, we have an update. Governor Whitmer has announced and opening for salons in the Upper Peninsula and Traverse City region on June 10th. She also said it is "likely" the other regions will reopen on June 15th. As this is a few days later than we originally planned we will be pushing back everyone a couple days. We will be contacting everyone who had an appointment early next week. If you do not hear from us by late in the week feel free to call, we will be answering the phones.Thank you for your patience.

Whitmer has opened everything June 8th EXEPT for a few business types..
SALONS, theaters, and gyms. Michigan is apparently in phase 4 of her six phase reopening of MI and salons are a part a phase 5. Please know we think this is ridiculous! According to our governor it's safe to go out to eat, go have a drink at a bar and have a party with 100 people outdoors but getting your hair done is not. As cosmetologists we went to school for 1500 hours. We had to pass a state board which included a written portion that quizzed us on everything including sanitation and disease. We are well equipped to handle any cleaning or sanitation process that we are given. Our state licensing department has not played a role in helping us with these guidelines. That didn't stop them reminding us to renew our license fees this week. So unfortunately salons still yet again are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Stay closed and continue to lose money or go back and face fines or charges and possibly lose our license. We are really sorry to all of our clients that we have been closed now for almost 11 weeks. We will contact those of you who have an appointment when we have a for sure legal date we can open.

Michigan Gov. Whitmer lifts stay-at-home order across state, reopening restaurants, more Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has lifted the stay-at-home order for the entire state, meaning restaurants, and much more will be able to reopen as the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) slows.

As suspected the governor has closed all salons in Michigan through April 13th. At least we'll all have roots together!
We are hopeful this date doesn't get pushed out any farther. We will do our best to reschedule everyone as soon as possible. If you have an appointment coming up and haven't heard from us please call the salon. The salon number has been transfered to Ana's cell and she will take appointments Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. If you get our voicemail please leave a message. We will also extend our hours the first few weeks we reopen to get everyone rescheduled. We do feel that this statewide closure is necessary to keep us all safe, as we are in such close proximity to our clients. Please do not ask us to work from home this is not something that we feel comfortable doing. Thank you for you patience through this. We hope everyone stays healthy and we look forward to seeing you again!

We are sad to say due to the COVID-19 we have decided to temporarily close starting March 20th until March 31st. We feel the need to close to ensure to the health and safety of our clients and ourselves. Our phone will be transferred to Ana’s cell. She will be taking appts during our normal business hours.
