Busy mom post!

Do you ever struggle with mom guilt? I love my community, and being part of my women’s group in church and attending women’s group once a week on Wednesdays anchors me during the week and feeds my soul to keep up with everything else.

Also, as a health coach, I have team time on Mondays to be with the community. We also learn about the state of affairs of the company and share ideas on how to better support our clients. Wednesdays and Mondays worked out pretty well for me a couple of months ago. I could devote my time to my women’s group on Wednesdays and attend team time on Mondays for the most part. However, basketball season just started, and games and basketball practices are gradually taking over my Wednesdays and Mondays.

You can be absent here and there and quickly catch up. However, when the season is ongoing and things don’t seem to change, the guilt trip lingers and leaves you feeling somewhat empty.

This guilt is probably coming up because of your desire to be a great mom, an effective health coach for your clients, an awesome friend in the community, and a great pharmacist. But sometimes, there are schedule conflicts, and you just can’t do it all. This was me this week. I needed to be at games, I wanted to attend women’s group, and I wanted to attend team time. All of them are important and have their own place, but I just couldn’t due to schedule conflicts.

My busy mom friends, how do you manage this moments? Just another busy mama here trying to figure out?
