Does your twist-out ever feel like a guessing game?

My next Natural Hair Ease Workshop is happening Saturday, October 17 in Clarksville, and registration opens this Friday.
We'll be breaking down what actually affects your twist-out results—not just which product somebody else uses.
If twist-outs are something you want to get better at, stay close this week.
Something can look beautiful immediately after styling and still have problems underneath that show up on Day 2 or Day 3.
That's why I don't judge a wash-and-go only by how defined it looks while it's wet.
Longevity tells me a lot too.

Today's a teaching day.
One of my favorite parts of doing these workshops is watching everything start making sense when someone understands WHY they're doing each step instead of simply being told which product to use.
That's really where natural hair gets easier.
Not when you memorize more rules.
When you understand the process.
If frizz or styles not lasting keeps sending you back to the beauty supply store, pause before buying something else.
Sometimes the issue isn't that you chose the wrong product. It may be something happening during your prep, application or drying process.

This result didn't start with the styling product.
It started with what happened BEFORE styling.
When I'm trying to get a wash-and-go to last, I'm looking at things like:
• how thoroughly the hair was cleansed
• the condition of the hair before product application
• water + product distribution
• how the hair was dried
The styling product matters.
But it can't always compensate for problems in the process.
That's why constantly changing products isn't necessarily the answer.
Save this for your next wash day.
If your natural hairstyle isn't lasting, don't automatically assume the product failed.
Before changing gels, creams or mousses, look at the process:
• Was the hair thoroughly cleansed?
• Was enough water used during styling?
• Was product distributed evenly?
• Did the hair dry completely?
Sometimes the product isn't the problem at all.
