Years ago when I first opened Bent Tree a good friend of mine told me that every dog has his day. In other words all good things must come to an end. At that time I was closing a chapter of my life and moving on, as we all do. It was hard to leave my friends yet exciting to be off to a new start. I feel as though I barely blinked and 16 years has passed since I started Bent Tree. As I reflect on this time I embrace the memories of so many people I have met. There were many whom I felt like I was part of their family. Funny how a hairstylist is intricately woven into a family through good and bad times. I remember so many first haircuts, proms, engagements, weddings and ,sadly, even funerals.

Odd how history repeats itself. Once again a chapter is ending and not just for me but for many who have shared this journey. New and exciting beginnings are ahead for us all. I want to especially thank Eddward Vaughn. He always put his work first for Bent Tree and his customers. He is truly an honest, compassionate, kind, and caring human being and a great friend. I want to wish him well on his new chapter at Hair In Motion.

On a final note I want to leave you with a great ending and thank you all for being part of the Bent Tree family over the past 16 years. I hope you have enjoyed this time as much as I have.
