I’m Marissa, and I’ve been waxing for about 9.5 years!

I started my career at a chain wax studio in Pennsylvania (where I’m originally from). When my husband and I moved to North Carolina in 2017, I transferred locations and continued waxing in Durham. Fast forward to 2025 》》I took the leap and opened my own wax studio here in Clayton.

My favorite services?

✨ Men’s full back waxes

But I’ll happily wax just about anything from head to toe (with the exception of men’s Brazilians/butts 😉).

A little more about me…
I’m from a small town in the Poconos of Northeast PA. I loved growing up there, but as life moved forward, my husband and I knew we were ready for something new… and North Carolina soon became home 🏡

TBH, waxing wasn’t always “the plan.”
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and even started grad school for Public Health. But I dropped out my last semester because… honestly? I didn’t want to write a thesis 😂 And looking back? Best decision I ever made.

Once I became a Licensed Esthetician and landed my first job as a wax specialist, I knew I was right where I belonged.

Now I feel incredibly lucky to call Clayton home and to have opened my doors a year ago to serve this amazing community 🤍
