100 times washed by hand in a copper vessel.
In Ayurveda, this practice is known as Shata Dhauta Ghrita.
A slow transformation that turns simple ghee into Soma Silk.
She is light, cooling, and silk-like on the skin.
For me, it feels like summer’s answer to tallow. Lighter, fresher, and beautifully cooling.
Available this Saturday morning.

My trough has returned home.
On my front porch now, where I think, not think, chat with neighbors as they walk by, listen to nature, music, and podcasts, and simply feel the weather.

Display play at The Station today.
The copper urn is back. ✨
Now I can demo Sattva Cleanser of the Season the way I use it, a spoonful in my palm, a little water, and a simple botanical ritual for soft, nourished skin.
Summer asks a little more of our cleanser. A touch of coconut-derived foam helps lift away sweat, mineral sun care, and the extra buildup that comes with heat and humidity.

Another relationship with boundaries.
Unfiltered early morning sunlight, and after 9ish, intentional shade and protection.
The modern research on circadian rhythms, sleep, energy, and overall health continues to echo Vedic wisdom that has been observed for thousands of years.
A woman said to me yesterday, “The sun feels tired later in the day, like it doesn’t have much to give.”
Calendula-infused mineral support on tables now.

Handcrafted, one small preparation at a time.
Early Summer offerings making their way into our apothecary spaces include our traditional Sattva Cleanser, returning with oat flour, chickpea flour, marshmallow root, and licorice root. For summer, sandalwood powder has been added for cooling support along with a gentle coconut-derived cleanser that creates a soft, light foam to help lift sweat, sunscreen, and the extra layers of warm-weather days.
Sattva Oil of Summer is formulated with lighter oils for quick absorption and warm-weather nourishment, offering moisture without heaviness.
Solar Balm brings non-nano zinc oxide mineral care, while our Botanical Waters — a true summer luxury — are served chilled for different moments of the day:
• Awakening — neroli + rose hydrosol
• Cooling — infused vetiver root + tulsi
• Calming — lavender water with a hint of rose hydrosol
Care that shifts as nature does.
Found in local aligned spaces

Sattva chooses botanicals with long histories of use and qualities that continue to be explored through modern research.
Reliable and trusted.
Gotu Kola restores with triterpene-rich regenerative properties that help support the skin barrier.
Amla protects with polyphenol-rich antioxidant properties that help defend against environmental stress and support vitality.
Summer brings more heat, UV exposure, sweat, water loss and more time spent in the elements, sun, wind, chlorine, salt and long days outdoors. Together these create greater environmental demand on the skin.
These are the botanicals I reach for to replenish what summer depletes.
Side note: Amla and Gotu Kola have been explored across hundreds of published studies examining antioxidant activity, inflammation, collagen support, skin repair and other biological effects.
