I’m super excited to be renting a Suite inside a Salon. Why is THDA form of Vitamin C superior?

It’s oil soluble. Other common forms of Vitamin C are water soluble leaving them unstable and difficult to get through a lipid/oil base skin barrier. Water sits on top of oil.

THDA Vitamin C has a lipid tail. That one change completely alters behavior:
It becomes oil-soluble
* Now it can move through the skin’s lipid barrier instead of fighting it
* Skin barrier = lipid matrix → oil dissolves in oil

It “blends” into the skin better
* It has higher affinity for skin lipids (ceramides, cholesterol)

It penetrates deeper
* Travels through lipid pathways in the stratum corneum
* Studies show significantly greater pe*******on vs regular vitamin C

Instead of dumping active vitamin C on the surface like a water soluble does
* It gets deeper first
* Then activates where it’s needed
* It forms a reservoir effect and can stay in the skin longer and work harder

This form is basically a pro-vitamin C
* It goes into the skin inactive
* Then enzymes in the skin convert it into active L-ascorbic acid
