Help us Celebrate HBCU Alumni Spotlight: Black History Month Skincare Line Collaboration!

As proud HBCU Pharmacy graduates and co-founders of the natural skincare brand LatherGreen, we have partnered with fellow FAMU alumnus and award-winning artist Cary Michael Robinson to create a special-edition skincare line, Queen’s Lair, dedicated to honoring the beauty and resilience of Black womanhood.

Cary Michael Robinson, a Mobile, Alabama native, earned his BS in Fine Arts from FAMU and his MA in Design Management from SCAD. While at FAMU, Cary founded the Fine Arts Society and worked as a graphic artist for the Brogan Museum in Tallahassee. He is the founder of Artbae (“Art Before Anything Else”), an award-winning arts education and advocacy organization based in Washington D.C.

The Queen’s Lair collection, which includes a Body Wash, Body Oil, and Body Scrub, is inspired by a stunning self-portrait by Cary Michael Robinson. The artwork captures the essence of strength, grace, and royal confidence. Adorned in radiant jewels and crowned with gold, the Black queen depicted embodies the inherent worth, beauty, and resilience of Black women. It serves as a powerful reminder that every Black woman is a queen, deserving of love, honor, and respect.
