Just because I don’t post all about it, doesn’t mean I’m not “living my best life”. Don’t keep up with the Jones.(or Kardashian).

I spent my middle school days dreaming of being the pretty and popular girls. Having all the friends and partying on the weekends. High school I felt like I started to come into my own, but then social media developed. I spent so much time wishing to be something I wasn’t. I spent time and energy on things I didn’t understand or even enjoy to fit in. I had very little drive to go to school and no confidence to follow my dreams. Having low self esteem and little confidence. Too nervous and scared to change my everyday life. Then one day, I met the man on my dreams, who supported me to build a career to make people feel better about how beautiful they really are inside and out. I spent 1800 hours consuming all the knowledge I could about this industry and after busting my bum for school and a job to pay the rent, I finally graduated and got license to be who I always dreamed of being since I was 5 years old. Now at the age of 28 I finally feel confident in my own skin, and I am where I am supposed to be in life. Taking on this journey was the absolute scariest thing I have ever done, moved 8 hours away from anyone I knew, started school at 26 and started my career at 28. Sometimes it takes time to get where you need to be. I can look back and say the pain, sweat and tears were worth every dime.
