It is with great sadness that we announce the departure of JW Brendle from The Men’s Room Barber Shop. JW has been a great part of what we’ve been doing for the last 5 years. We will miss him GREATLY!! We wish him well on his future endeavors, and our blessing. We’ll eventually fill the chair, but never the void that will be here without him….. and his dogs. 🐾

Saturday will be his last day here, so please feel free to come by and give him a hug and wish him well.

For those that will be following him to his new location, text or call him personally, or feel free to drop by and discuss what that will look like moving forward.

This is why I always pre-screen new potential customers. You just never know who you’re dealing with when people book online. After this exchange, this person thought it best to leave a one star review on Google. At least he won’t be in our shop disrupting our vibe with his negativity.

Important Announcement!!

Beginning June the 10th I am changing my working days at the shop. After almost 20 years of being closed on Mondays, I will now be open.

I will be working Monday - Thursday. I’ll be working the same hours as I was before; opening at 10:00 and taking my last customer at 6:00.

If you are currently a Friday, recurring appointment customer, feel free to contact me about rescheduling your series of appointments. I will also be reaching out to those I haven’t already spoken to.

I’m making this change in order to be able to spend more time with my family. Amanda works these hours in the summer, so we will now have the same schedule.

Also, I’m really going to be pushing to have as many of my customers as possible on recurring appointments. I know everyone can’t do that, but I’ve found those types of appointments to be the best way to serve my clientele properly.

**** Summer Vacation Schedule******

I will be working Monday through Friday the week of June 10-14 then I will be off the following week for vacation June 17-21. When I return on June 24th my new permanent schedule will begin.

I was supposed to be leaving work early tomorrow, but there was a scheduling conflict with the place we are going. I now have openings from 3:30 to close tomorrow, if anyone needs to get in.
