I started cosmetology school in my hometown Charlotte, NC when I was 17. Passed my boards and received my license at 18 and never looked back!

I packed my bags and moved to Winston Salem at 20 and started rebuilding my clientele. At 29 years old I branched out and opened my very own salon studio.

14 years in this beautiful industry and I’m still so glad I chose this direction for my life!

Did you know only 1 in 10 stylist make it past 2 years in this industry? It takes a lot more then just being good at hair.

I'm so grateful to have found my niche, my passion, and my people.

This is a perfect example of what extensions are NOT supposed to look like.

Extensions are a lot of things but uncomfortable is not one. Proper installation should not and will not cause damage to your natural hair.

This guest came in with extensions installed by another stylist 4 weeks ago, when taking a peak of what was going on under all that hair a couple things were obvious.

1. The rows had way too much hair, which made them very bulky and added entirely too much weight to the natural hair.

2. The natural hair in the beading had severe tension that resulted in a bare spot where the natural hair had been pulled out of the scalp.

3. The extensions and natural hair did not blend to were she could wear her hair straight without it looking obvious that she has extensions.

We removed all the hair and started over. We mapped out where the hair should be placed before starting the installation. Made two rows of bulky hair into three flat and comfortable rows and cut the extensions to blend seamlessly with her natural hair, without having to cut or thin her natural hair.

Let’s be honest, extensions are not cheap. Quality hair and proper installation is an investment. With that you should be able to wear your hair how you like and it should be comfortable and seamless!

This is also a prime example of a stylist who is certified in extensions and a stylist that specializes in them.
