Hey friends 👋🏻

I’ve seen some fresh faces here recently and I thought I’d take the time to (re)introduce myself! My names Ashley, I’ve been in the industry roughly 20 years, and I’m a master stylist and community events manager at Mark Douglas Hairdressing. Redheads, brunettes, and curly cuts are my jam, but I love any challenge thrown at me!
A little about me, I’m a born and raised Jersey girl, been here since 2005, and I absolutely LOVE singing and karaoke! I’ve known my husband for a bazillion years, but we got married in 2021, and have a super cool 3 year old together, and our 10 year old who I had the pleasure of officially adopting in 2023. We also completed our family in May of 2025 with our baby girl! My favorite thing in life is being a mom! Our favorite hobbies are going to Disney every chance we get, scary and haunted everything, traveling as much as possible, and doing escape rooms! We have currently done over 115 rooms! I also have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and one day aspire to complete my Masters in Social Work!

My favorite part of being in the beauty industry is what I get to do emotionally for other people. In my every day life, along with professionally, I really take pride in finding balance, being a contributing member to my community, ALWAYS finding ways to have fun, being an inspiration to others, and being successful in everything I put my mind to. I’m in the business of people, first and foremost, and I am most definitely ready to serve where I can! When my clients come to me, they can expect a true “Hairapy” experience and will leave feeling beautiful AND mentally clear.

Redheads, brunettes, and curly cuts are my jam, but I love any challenge thrown at me! I’m also a brand ambassador for Younique cosmetics and love the opportunity to be an affiliate for a few other social media marketing companies to help share some of the things I love with my followers. If I can help one person find something that makes them smile then I am winning!!
