I’ll never forget the conversation I had with my Pa (grandpa) 💕

We were sitting at the dinner table with my grandma, talking about what I wanted to do in life. Back then, I was in an agricultural program in high school and dreamed of becoming a veterinarian.

My Pa, who ran his own business, looked me straight in the eye and said:
“Don’t just work for someone. Own your own practice.”

Even though my path shifted—I spent 8 years in veterinary medicine before finding my true home in the beauty industry—I never forgot his words. He told me to be my own boss. And I did just that.

Though he passed a few years after that dinner, his advice has guided me ever since. The things I rarely share publicly are the very things that led me here. And now, I can say with confidence: I am exactly where I’m supposed to be, at the exact right time.

This year alone, I’ve been featured in not one, but two articles about my journey. 🥹✨
It feels surreal, but also like proof that Pa was right all along.

I needed this space before I ever created it.
A space where women could come together without competition. Where you didn’t have to explain your passion because everyone in the room gets it.

For a long time, I tried to have these conversations with friends and family but they often felt distant.
Surface-level. Supportive, but not quite aligned.
It was hard to explain the dreams I had, the pressure I felt, the things I was building. And honestly? It left me feeling misunderstood.

I kept thinking about the conversations I wish I had earlier in my journey. The kind that makes you feel seen, inspired, and supported.

That’s what inspired this brunch.
I wanted it to feel like *exhale*. Like clarity. Like you’re not doing this alone.

Planning wasn’t easy and I second guessed everything.

Where do I do this?
Will people come?
Will the vibe feel right?
Will it actually help someone?

But I trusted the intention behind it. And when the room filled with laughter, hugs, note-taking, and real conversations… I knew it was worth it.

This wasn’t about aesthetics, it was about alignment. And it reminded me how much magic happens when you move from purpose, not pressure.

So many women left with new ideas, content to post, systems to explore but more than that… they left feeling seen, supported and inspired.

And I did too.
