One year ago, if you had told me that Baker & Bloom would be standing here today as Best Aesthetics, Best Spray Tan, Best Waxing, and Best Massage, I don’t know if I would have believed you.

This past year has been one of the hardest and most rewarding years of my life.

There were days filled with excitement and hope, and there were days filled with fear, uncertainty, tears, and wondering if I was making the right decisions. Starting over wasn’t easy. Building something from the ground up rarely is.

There were long nights, difficult conversations, financial risks, countless hours of work, and moments where the weight of it all felt overwhelming. But there was also a dream. A dream of creating something that was truly mine. A place where people felt welcomed, cared for, and confident.

Today, as I hold this Best of the Best edition in my hands, I am reminded that every struggle, every setback, every leap of faith was worth it.

To every client who trusted me, supported me, voted for me, encouraged me, and believed in Baker & Bloom before it became what it is today—thank you. You have no idea how much your support has meant to me.

This award isn’t just about being recognized as the best. It’s a reminder that sometimes the scariest decisions lead to the greatest blessings.

I am so proud of what we’ve built in less than a year, but more than that, I’m grateful. Grateful for my team, my family, my friends, and this incredible community that continues to support a small business owner’s dream.

This is the face of a small business owner who is wore out from the holiday season but really freaking proud.

I don’t always share stuff like this, but it felt worth sharing. Over 200 gift cards sold this holiday season, and I truly can’t put into words how much that means to me. Every single one represents someone choosing to support my small business, and I will never take that lightly.

There are days running a small business feels overwhelming and exhausting, and days I question if I’m doing enough or even on the right path. But moments like this remind me exactly why I keep going.
