✨ Winter 2025 at Hitch & Hemlock ✨
A small-batch collection shaped by frost, evergreen, and slow rituals of the season.

This year’s winter soaps gather the scents of quiet mornings, forest walks, and the warmth we reach for when the world turns cold. Each bar is crafted in small batches, poured by hand, and rooted in the botanicals and storytelling that guide us.

The Collection
Pine Wreath — crisp pine boughs, resin, and soft winter light.
Christmas Morning — warm vanilla coffee, and the hush before the day begins.
Sugar Plum — dark fruit, soft sweetness, and a whisper of winter magic.
Alpine Winter — icy air, fir needle, juniper, and cedarwood.
Lump of Coal — eucalyptus, cedarwood and deep charcoal earth.

Five bars, each with its own season to hold.

If you’re curious about small rituals, handcrafted goods, or slow-made things that bring a bit of grounding into daily life, follow along as Hitch & Hemlock grows.

Soap Highlight: Salt Rise

Bright. Clean. Bracing as sunrise on open water.

Salt Rise is our newest bar- rich with coconut oil, packed with sea salt, and cut with a clean citrus lift. It lathers up creamy, rinses away clean, and leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth, and deeply hydrated.

Perfect for early mornings when you need to shake off sleep,
or after long days in the sun when your skin is craving care.

This one feels like standing barefoot at the edge of the shore. Warm sun on your face, cool air in your lungs, salt on your skin.

Crafted with:
— Sea Salt for gentle exfoliation and deep hydration
— Coconut Oil for rich, creamy lather
— Bright Citrus Essential Oils for clarity and refresh

Small-batch. Palm-free. Pure skin therapy.

Soap Highlight: Cedarwood Smoke

Smells like firewood stacked by hand.
Like flannel layered on skin still warm from the sun.
Like dusk settling deep into the forest.

Cedarwood Smoke is one of our most grounding bars.
Rich with smoky cedar, smooth lather, and just a trace of resin in the air.

It’s for the ones who feel most at home under pine needles.
For slow mornings. For still evenings. For rituals that smell like memory.

Crafted with:
— Cedarwood essential oil for warmth and clarity
— Shea + Kokum butters for deep moisture
— Olive + Coconut oils for a clean, steady lather

No fluff. No filler. Just solid soap with a forest soul.

Stemshine, out in the sun ☀️

- Bright lemongrass
- Crisp rosemary
- Kokum + shea butter for soft skin

Sunshine caught in a bar. Herbal, zesty, and sharp in the best way. Looks like summer. Smells like clarity. Fresh off the plank, ready to cure.

Small batch. Plant powered.
Stemshine is all light, no fluff.

Made with men in mind, the woodsy way.

Skip the socks. Wrap up something he’ll actually use, and actually love.

🌲 Cedarwood Smoke – campfire calm
⛰ Mountain Storm – charcoal and alpine rain
🏔 Alpine Rush – fresh pine + resin snap

Hand-poured. Small-batch. Made for dads who smell like forests, not fragrance aisles.

A Rainbow to Destin. 🌈
We didn’t plan it, but the timing felt right.
This was taken on the road, church and cemetery to one side, a storm lifting behind us, and a full double rainbow to catch.

This month is about pride.
And at Hitch and Hemlock, that means honoring the beauty in being yourself. Standing tall, standing out, or simply standing in peace with your own skin.

That trip was long, hot, and full of saltwater and a tinge of sunburn. Fortunately we brought Minty Dew. Its aloe, spearmint, lime, and rosemary helped cool us down, calm our skin, and remind us how something simple can feel like care.

Whether you’re celebrating your identity, your people, or just learning how to love yourself in the in-between, we see you. We’re with you. You belong.

Happy Pride Month.
From the woods, to the rivers, to the coast, you are always welcome here.

Some memorials live in quiet places,
along mountain trails,
at the edge of a fence line,
or in the shadow of a grounded plane.

We climbed Currahee, “Stands Alone.”
The mountain where the men of WWII Easy Company trained.
3 up. 3 down.
The same road they ran to prepare for war.
Some of them didn’t come home.

Camp Toccoa is more than a place.
It’s a memory held in the trees.
A legacy preserved by effort, silence, and sweat.
A reminder of how much was sacrificed.
So we could climb freely, speak freely, live freely.

Today, we remember the fallen.
We honor the quiet markers left behind.
And we carry the weight, gently, forward.

Cutting Velvet Lavender

The swirl. The stillness. The scent.

This is Velvet Lavender just after the cut, 36 bars of cool calm, fresh from the block. Infused with coconut milk and Brazilian clay, topped with dried lavender buds, and textured like whipped clouds just before they break.

There’s something so satisfying about this part of the process. The soft resistance of the loaf, the wire gliding through, the quiet reveal of perfectly formed bars beneath.

No molds. No machines. Just time, hands, and rhythm.

She’s curing now.
She’ll be ready soon.

What about Hitch?

We get that one too.

The truth? You’ll have to join the VIP club.
But it’s word with weight. A little snap.
Something that sounded old, a little wild, like it belonged in the woods.

The more we sat with it, the more it made sense.
To hitch is to bind, to tether, to fasten.
To hold something close.

And that’s what we do, hitch the natural world to daily ritual.

Tie together scent, memory, and intention in every bar we make.

So maybe we started with a sound.
But we stayed for the meaning.

05/19/2025

There’s something so satisfying about this part.
That first slice through the loaf.
The clean resistance.
The shhhhk of wire on firm, cured soap.

This is the Diviner. our custom cutter rigged with a guitar string, because we like our tools just as handmade as our bars. If you watch close, the string lifts ever so slightly after the loaf is cut.
Like it knows it just did something good.

This batch? Velvet Lavender.
Still warm. Still fragrant. Still soft enough to make you slow down.

36 bars. Sliced and stacked.
Now onto curing.
