At the BeYOU Project, we provide mentorship, empowerment, wellness education, and a safe sisterhood for girls ages 8–14 through our BeYOU Girls Club. Our programs are free for families, but they are rich with impact — from building confidence and self-worth to teaching emotional wellness, healthy habits, and leadership skills.

This Giving Tuesday, we’re inviting generous supporters, friends, and partners to help us continue offering programs that truly change lives.

I hope this message finds you well! I wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news with you. As you know, I stepped from behind the chair and right into a new role as chair/board member of a nonprofit organization that is very close to my heart: The BeYOUtiful Brown Girl Project.

At The BeYOUtiful Brown Girl Project, we’re on a mission to empower Black and Brown girls to embrace their voices, build confidence, and grow into leaders. Through workshops, mentorship, cultural experiences, and career readiness programs, we create a safe and inspiring space for young women to thrive.

As we approach Giving Tuesday, I am reaching out to ask for your support to help us continue making our program accessible to all. Every dollar raised helps us cover materials, meals, activities, and more, ensuring our girls have everything they need to succeed.

First and foremost, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and trust in our salon services. Your loyalty has been invaluable, and we are truly grateful to have you as our esteemed client.

As we enter this new year, we wanted to inform you about an upcoming change in our pricing structure. Due to the impact of inflation and rising operational costs, we have found it necessary to make adjustments to our service prices. We want to assure you that this decision was not taken lightly, and we have carefully considered the best way to balance maintaining the quality of our services while also ensuring the sustainability of our salon.

Effective 2/15/2024 the following price adjustments will be implemented:

- Blowdry/Curl: $65
- Weave Shampoo: $85
- Shampoo: $40
- Rinse: $45
- Demi: $55
- Relaxers: $70
- Permanent Color: $90
-Intensive capsules: $30
- Proplex: $50

Please note that the price for the Press base will remain at $75. However, if your hair length extends past your shoulder, an additional fee of $10 or more will be added, as this requires extra time and resources to ensure the best results.

To express our appreciation for your continued patronage, we are delighted to offer a complimentary eye mask upon request with every steam treatment. We believe this small gesture will enhance your overall salon experience and provide an extra touch of relaxation and rejuvenation.

We understand that price adjustments can be an inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring your satisfaction. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the price increase or any other matter, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to assist you and address any inquiries you may have.
