Texture Hair Studio

Greetings to everyone. It's been quite a while since I've posted anything here on the Texture Hair Studio page. I'm sure that those of you who follow this page are already aware, but as of October 7th 2023 the Colonie Texture Hair Studio location has closed its doors for good. Unfortunately for us, the landlord sold the building we occupied and the one next door. Businesses come and go, and although it makes me sad and definitely hurts financially, what really bothers me is losing my family and friends. I was very blessed to have a great group of stylists over the last number of years who became a family with our day in day out interactions and all of the experiences, both professionally and personally that we shared. We hope to all stay in contact, but you know how life is. :) Through those years I was also blessed to get to know many of our customers, some have moved away, some have passed from this life, but all of you were important, and not just because you patronized our salon. You added life to it!! You came with your own stories, some funny, some sad. You made what we do, what I did, as a salon owner so much more rewarding than just giving haircuts. For that I will always be grateful. All of my family have landed on their feet, each in another setting where this friendship that we create with each of you will continue. I will continue to work and operate in my Clifton Park salon. If you don't know where your stylist landed, leave a message here or pm me and I will give you that information..So in closing, I guess I just want to say thank you, to my Texture family and to you, our friends...

2020 can be described in many ways. Whether good or bad, we have all walked this year together. Some of us have mourned for the loss of friends or loved ones. Others have rejoiced in welcoming new additions to their families or circle of friends. I encourage you to count the blessings, no matter how few or abundant they may be. Today is a day of "Thanksgiving". Yes, there's great food that we all enjoy, but let's not forget to give thanks for what we have. All of us at Texture Hair Studio are thankful for all of you. Not just for your business, but for your friendships also. So from all of us to all of you, we hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
