If you want to grow out your hair, please read. Otherwise, disregard. A couple of things. Our hair definitely grows faster when we are younger. That being said, our hair tends to like to get to a stopping point before it hits telogen. The resting phase of hair. Hair is constantly in the three phases. It can be hard to get your hair past that point, if that’s where it naturally likes to stop now. The best way to achieve this is to take a regular vitamin daily. Massage your scalp regularly. I tell clients normal hair growth is, half an inch a month. Get half an inch cut off every three months, that way you are gaining an inch of growth while still coming in and getting fresh ends. You should start to see a difference. People rake through there hair and tend to pull more out when brushing it. Split ends are like Velcro and like to tangle easily and pull out. Try using gentle brushing technique starting at the bottom and working your way up until it’s completely untangled. Then brush from the scalp down. The hair at the very bottom is the oldest hair, sometimes three or four years old. Brushing from the scalp down gets your natural oils all the way down. And at last, make sure you are using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, and occasionally a bond building shampoo and conditioner from time to time if you are doing chemical services to it. Masks also help. This, right here, all of this, should help your with your hair goals. I wish you luck! 😊
