After nearly ten years, It's time that I end my journey with Sleek Salon, and step back from being behind the chair.
This has been one of the most difficult decisions I have ever made.
You see,
For me it was never just a job,
Being a hairstylist can be a rewarding, wonderful career.
But it is heavy.
The people you work with, become family.
The clients you work for, friends.
It is a job that requires extraordinary ambition, and passion.
We all know, it has been A YEAR.
We've all suffered loss, and I have not managed to dodge this.
I am taking a break. I'm trying something new for a while. I'm focusing on my family, my faith, and my health.
I am giving up something I love so that I can learn to love it again.
It has been a great honor to be a part of Sleek Salon and to work with and for so many wonderful people.
I express my absolute gratitude to all my clients for supporting me through the years.
