Hey family, friends, and community! We need your help again to help Sara Gardner. She has been a hairstylist in Clinton for over 30 years. Many of you know her from the Hair Shop by Subway. She has been really sick since August in and out of the hospital. St. Dominic and UMC are working on trying to figure out what is wrong. They found out she has Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia but can’t find out what is causing it. She has had to have 2-4 units blood almost every week. Her hemoglobins have only gone up to 8 when it’s the highest but has dropped back down to 5. They are suppose to be at 15. They did start her on chemo 4 weeks ago even though they haven’t found cancer. She had her last chemo Thursday and started running fever. She is back in hospital with a bacterial infection. They are giving her blood and running more test. We need everyone prayers for her. She has no family and is self employed. She did get Medicaid to help her because she had no health insurance. She has been trying to get disability for months but has been denied twice but appealed the last one waiting to here. She has no money to pay December bills. Please if you can help in any way please bring donations to Pure Salon and Spa. We are coming up on the holidays where we are suppose to be thankful and giving.
