Necessities Salon and Day Spa

Organically based Full service Salon and Day Spa in Cloquet Necessities offers a full menu of services and spa packages.
The salon is home to professional haircuts, styling, color and consulting. We start every new client and service with an in depth consult. “I want to understand the life style of my clients and know how much energy they want to put into a hair style and their makeup routine. We build from there – together.” Necessities carries the GLO Skin Beauty line of make-up and skin care and offers application as well as consulting. “I love the GLO line and its results. I use it personally and am proud to show the options. I incorporate their products with facial consulting as well.”
Necessities also has a spa area for facials, pedicures, waxing and therapeutic massage. “I love doing the facials and pedicures. I use an organic line of products and the results are amazing. The spa room is relaxing and therapeutic. I have designed the services and spa packages knowing how I like to be pampered and want that positive experience for every client.”
We believe that feeling beautiful is one of the Necessities of life!

✨ 16 ½ years ago, Necessities Salon and Day Spa opened its doors with a sparkle in its eye and a dream full of beauty, intention, and heart. And what better day to celebrate this magical “half” milestone than Star Wars Day? Because honestly… why not make it a little cosmic? 💫✨
Today I am feeling extra sentimental, extra grateful, and just a little bit dazzled by it all. To every single one of you who has walked through these doors, trusted me with your self-care, shared your stories, your laughter, your lives—thank you from the deepest, most glowing part of my heart. You are not just clients… you are the magic, the energy, the reason this space shines the way it does.
What started as a vision for a high-end, organically based salon and day spa has blossomed into something truly beautiful, something full of connection, warmth, and love—and that is entirely because of YOU. Being part of your journeys, your transformations, your quiet moments of renewal… it’s an honor I never take lightly.
So here’s to 16 ½ years of beauty, love, laughter, and a little bit of sparkle ✨
And here’s to many, many more years of glowing together.
With all my love, admiration, and a whole galaxy of gratitude 💖✨
