I really missed the sounds of summer in Japan, and of course, all the amazing food.

And thank you, Jonathan and baby, for letting me have this little birthday trip. 💕 It felt so good to be back. 🇯🇵

Man… I just felt like I wanted to share how this made me feel.

I never imagined that a movie with such cute, childlike characters would lead me here. But somehow, that little world nudged me into thinking about global conflicts and human psychology.

This simple fantasy started to feel like a fable—how fear begets harm, harm breeds anger, and eventually, everyone has a reason for what they do.

Maybe that’s why it became such a powerful reminder of what I learned growing up in Nagasaki. We were shown the horrors of the atomic bomb directly, but the message wasn’t about hatred. It was: feel this, understand the suffering, and don’t let it be repeated.

Because if we stay on the path of fear and retaliation, we never arrive at peace. They are different roads.

Maybe peace begins when we decide, “I won’t repeat it.”

And choose the path of compassion, love, and peace.

Many people wonder why a brunette highlight appointment takes several hours—even when the highlights look soft and natural instead of bold. The answer is in the artistry.
To create a seamless, lived-in look, I carefully place fine highlights throughout the entire head. Every section is customized to mimic the way the sun naturally lightens hair.
For cool-toned brunettes, I lift the highlights to at least a level 8. This is important because it prevents unwanted orange or brassy tones from appearing as the toner gradually fades.
After the highlights are complete, the service continues:
