Hanging out
Www.rawlandnaturalproducts.com

One of the things we encourage our members of ALL ages to work on is hanging from a bar. This is GREAT for shoulder health & mobility, decompression of joints AND grip strength. #chinups & #pullups are fantastic exercises BUT prior to even thinking about that we need to develop the confidence & strength just to hang & support our bodyweight from a bar. We work with members predominantly in their 50s, 60s & 70s & many of them have not tried to hang from a bar since they were school kids playing on monkey bars or similar. For us, the GOLD standard is building up to a 2minute straight arm hang - then, when you can do that progress to a thick bar (which is MUCH harder). Can you do that? Do you regularly hang? I’d love to know. @daveroscoe1 @bobbyblackbird66 @milfordbev #chelmsford #essex #notyouraveragegym
