A little reality that has set in for 2022
Being just flat out YOU
Some days I am fully put together. Some days I’m not.
Some days my baby hairs are really unruly and some days they may lay just right.
Some days I feel great in my skin and some days I don’t know what the heck is going on.
I shop at Walmart and love every minute of it.
Now don’t get me wrong- I love to get dolled. I love nice things.
You fancy👸🏼
But it doesn’t rule my life. The fancy things aren’t a need.
I’m raw, I’m real. There is no in-between. Being fake just isn’t my thing.
I wear my heart on my sleeve. And you can read my emotions on my face.
I love my job and at the end of the day I love going home to my family.
There are days I take off because when I’m sitting doing nothing looking at my babies that’s all I need.
So if you sit in my chair for the material things in life- well that’s just not me.
Because the finer things in life to me are…
Not always having it together.
Loving myself anyways.
Being kind.
Giving.
Enjoying a drink or two.
Loved ones.
Friendships.
Packing up my trailer and heading out.
Laughing until I snort. (Yes my kids to it too)
So if you sit in my chair for those kind of things- well girllllll we will be friends for life!!
I am human. You are too! Instagram is so much on how to be perfect and what life should be like. But let’s talk reality- who has it together 💯 percent of the time?
So when you sit in my chair..
I hope your there for me no matter what I chose to wear. Or how much makeup is on my face.
I hope you sit in my chair for the genuine talks. The real life talks. The laughs. The messy buns. The good days. The bad days. The real days.
The days My makeup slays. And the days it doesn’t stay.
I’m your girl If your just as real as me ♥️

🥂 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣2️⃣ 🥂
My hubby asked me what my New Years resolution was and I responded with nothing, those don’t last long.
He then responded with his…
So it made me sit back and re think mine-
Well for starters.. not being so negative right out the gate.
To not be so quick to anger.
Perspective… to have more of it.
Life is only what we make it. So weather you see it full or empty- that’s what it’ll be.
I don’t have it all together, but together we have a lot.
I pray to see 2022 better than what it appears.
I will challenge myself to see it always full. I will challenge myself to the thankful for something in my glass.
Cheers to loving every bit of life. Because at the end of the day, end of the year- it’s ours. All of it. Good or bad.
Happy new year my friends! Cheers to many more days together 🎉

🍁 T H A N K F U L 🍁
I hope when you woke up this morning, you gave thanks for the light, for your life, for your strength. Today Give thanks for your food and for the joy of living.
Thank you to all the guests who sit in my chair. I am truly blessed with each and every one of you!
Here’s to another year together with good laughs and enjoying each other’s company!
Lord God, we gather around the table to humbly thank You for all that You have given us this past year – not just what is on this table, but who is sitting around this table. Thank you for life and laughter, for health and happiness, for relationships and memories. Thank you, too, for the lessons learned and the tears we’ve cried because of Your ability to grow us through them. Thank You for Your comfort and Your presence, in light of good days and bad. Thank You for what we have now, for what we had yesterday, and for what You will continue to give tomorrow. Let us never take that for granted, but to always be grateful for every good and perfect gift that comes from You. May we have hearts full of thanksgiving not only today but every day of our lives. We pray these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, Amen.
Happy thanksgiving from my family to yours. May you all have a blessed day today!

What a beautiful moment when a friend steps in with a gentle smile and a few simple words of encouragement, and suddenly you’re not alone.
Be that friend today-
give the gift of saying these things…
1. “You’re wonderful.”
(Romans 12:12: “Be joyful in hope”)
The world is quick to tell us all the ways we fall short. We are hyper-aware of our faults and frailties. So what a precious gift to remind someone of specific ways they are a wonderful friend, a wonderful parent, a wonderful spouse, a wonderful coworker, a wonderful person. This will be more than just a compliment. This is helping infuse a little joy into their hope.
2. “Me too.”
(Romans 12:12: “patient in affliction”)
What a blessing to remind a friend that we all have afflictions, hurts, faults and tender places. We all get sick both emotionally and physically.
The patient friend freely gives grace because she so desperately needs it herself. “Me too” acknowledges I’m no better than you, but together, we are stronger. It’s such a loving and disarming admission that we’re all in this together.
3. “I’ll pray.”
(Romans 12:12: “faithful in prayer”)
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to tell a friend that every time you see a specific color, object or number, you’ll use it as a reminder to pray for him or her? And when you do, shoot that friend a quick text letting them know.
4. “I’ll share.”
(Romans 12:13a: “Share with the Lord’s people who are in need.”)
When we notice a need in a friend’s life, might we be willing to step in and be part of the solution?
5. “Come over.”
(Romans 12:13b: “Practice hospitality.”)
Welcoming a friend inside the sacred space of our home is such a needed gesture. There’s just something about relationships that are less pixelated when we get eye to eye, voice to voice, and talk.
Really talk.
Over broken bread we share broken hearts. And then we celebrate the parts of us that are still intact. We reach across the table and across our differences to grab hold of the glorious bond of friendship.
Hebrews 13:16, "And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased."
I want to be that friend for you today.
